New feature will allow users to share information and make more informed lending decisions
Acquis Data Services has today announced the launch of Lessor Connect, a new feature available on its Lumia platform, that has been designed to improve industry collaboration.
This new functionality enables lessors to easily contact each other, opening a direct line of communication between organisations, so they can choose to share information regarding existing lending agreements.
Lumia is a central register of asset finance borrowing that was launched in 2022 and provides a clear and real-time insight into a customer’s lending exposure, alerting its users to possible fraudulent activity.
The platform now has 42 asset finance companies signed up to the platform, covering over 500,000 agreements that are in place, with a value of over £29bn.
James Rudolf, CCO at Acquis Data Services commented on the new feature: “Lessor Connect has been developed based on feedback from existing Lumia users who are keen to strengthen the collaboration and communication via the platform. The feature provides a secure, platform-based environment where information can choose to be shared confidentially and help resolve queries and ensure greater transparency when managing agreements.
“This is just another step in our goal to make Lumia the ‘go-to’ platform for the industry to collaborate – as well as helping to identify suspicious activity, we see Lumia as a safe place where users can share information to make more informed decisions.”
Lessor Connect is now live and available to all registered lessors on the Acquis Lumia platform.
