‘Activity notifications’ helps lessors stay ahead of changing exposure and receive automated alerts
Acquis Data Services has announced the launch of ‘activity notifications, a new feature available on its Lumia platform designed to help lessors monitor and identify material changes in a company’s asset finance exposure.
Lumia is a collaborative market intelligence platform, launched in 2022, and has become a vital tool for the asset finance industry. It enables better fraud detection, portfolio insight, and greater transparency across the sector.
The new functionality enables lessors to set up automated notifications against a company’s registration number. The platform will then monitor any changes in the organisation’s overall recorded asset finance exposure, as well as the number of lenders associated with the company.
Then, when a configured threshold is reached, Lumia sends an automated email notification to the selected recipients, helping lessors identify material changes without needing to continually revisit individual company records.
The new feature is now available to registered Lumia users, and notifications are private to each organisation and are not visible to other contributors.
Jo Thorn, Country Manager, commented on the new feature: “’Activity notifications’ has been developed to give lessors greater visibility of a customer’s asset finance activity, after a lending decision has been made.
“By providing this type of visibility on the platform, Lumia can help its customers stay informed and take action when it matters. It’s another important development for Lumia as we continue to build functionality that supports lessors throughout the life of a lending relationship, not just at the point of origination.”
With 41 customers now signed up to Lumia, it provides a substantial view of market activity across £32 billion in agreements.
